Don returns to Retford 29.9.2018

 Retford, St Saviour's Community Centre Saturday 29.9.2018 13:30 An afternoon with Slade legend, drummer Don Powell. Don payed a visit in Retford in October 2017, now he has been asked to make another appearence there on 29th September 2018.

Start to Autumn 2018: UK - Poland - Czech Republic

 

Slade's summer of 2018 ended 31st of August at Riverside rock festival in Switzerland. Autumn 2018 gigs started 9th of September in the UK at Calbourne, continuing in October in Poland, Czech Republic and the UK, in November Ukraine and Israel. The year ends with the traditional Xmas tour in the UK.

Don's September 2018: cake, peas, pies, and drums

 

Don started the autumn of 2018 with a festival gig in the UK 9th of September, celebrating his Birthday the next day. At the end of the month Don returns to Telford for an afternoon with "Slade" poet Paul Cookson:

Saturday 29th September - DON POWELL RETURNS TO RETFORD!

 

It will be an AFTERNOON EVENT - so that travelling etc is easier for those fans and friends travelling distances. There will be pies on arrival. We have a full programme planned but I'll let you have full details and an itinerary when everything falls into place ... but hopefully there will be something new and exciting from Don's direction - oh the intrigue!"
